What the heck is a shrub!? It’s Grandma’s favorite drink and it is making a comeback. A shrub (also known as “drinking vinegar”) is the perfect combination of fruity, invigorating and brightly acidic. It’s made with fruit, sugar, and vinegar and is an excellent way to highlight the flavor of almost any fruit. It is almost endlessly versatile in drinks. Add some seltzer or soda water for some refreshing bubbles. Pair it with sparkling wine. You can also add your favorite spirit to a seltzer and shrub mix for a fruity, refreshing cocktail. Try gin and a few mint leaves with our strawberry shrub. Grandma’s nightly drinking vinegar is back in style and we’re here for it!
