Cooking with Carly at Common Roots Farm
Join farmer & registered dietician Carly Gaffney, MS RDN for a weekly on farm cooking experience!
Carly will lead people with disabilities and their support person on an ingredient gathering session followed by a class on how to prepare healthy snacks, smoothies, salads and other dishes.
Sessions will run weekly on Fridays for 5 weeks.
Cost is $25/session for two people and covers the cost of ingredients.
Students will leave each class with a printed recipe to use at home.
Session Dates:
Session 1: May 31, June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28 from 1:30-2:45PM
Session 2: July 12, July 19, July 26, Aug 2, Aug 9 from 11:00AM-12:15PM
Session 3: Aug 16, Aug 23, Sept 6, Sept 13, Sept 20 from 11:00AM-12:15PM
Important Details:
All participants including the provider/support staff will need to sign a waiver.
Waiver and additional information will be emailed after you sign up.
All ingredients and food prep tools will be provided.
We are unable to make dietary restriction exceptions. However, Carly will make suggestions on how to modify recipes.

Please park in our lot (through the red metal gate) and take the path nearest the greenhouse to our Seed to Salad garden area under the big blue canopy.
